First let me introduce myself to you. I, up into September 15th, was Ms. Piccirilli, but I got married!! I am now Mrs. Robertson (although I still answer to both because most of the students know me as Ms. Piccirilli.) This was an exciting part of this school year. We even had the chance to take a honeymoon, which was fantastic. I did miss the students here at MLS though and they were so excited when I returned. Below you will find a picture of our dog, Ella, who definitely keeps us busy at the end of the day when we get home.
I am originally from Pennsylvania and moved down to Virginia 15 years ago for a teaching job. I began my career in Madison County as a 5th grade teacher. Then I was an Assistant Principal in Charlottesville City Schools, as well as a 4th grade teacher. In 2008, I came to MLS and have been here since. I love being a part of this community and enjoy spending time with each of the students. Each day is different and I feel that making a difference for students and adults in education is extremely important. This is a great place to be out in Ivy!!
